Moorebank Interstate Terminal
DETAILS
The $1.5 billion QUBE Moorebank Interstate Terminal is a transformative logistics hub that sets a new benchmark for freight efficiency in Australia.
This stage includes the construction of three new stops, a dedicated light rail bridge across Parkes Way, and the integration of green and sustainable design elements to support Canberra’s environmental goals. With a project cost of approximately $400 million, Stage 2A represents a significant investment in the city’s public transport infrastructure. Riskon provided expert systems engineering and safety assurance services to ensure the project met critical safety, operational, and regulatory requirements, paving the way for a smooth transition to the next stages of the light rail network.
