The Canberra Light Rail Stage 2A project involves the extension of the city’s light rail network from Alinga Street to Commonwealth Park, spanning approximately 1.7 kilometers.

This stage includes the construction of three new stops, a dedicated light rail bridge across Parkes Way, and the integration of green and sustainable design elements to support Canberra’s environmental goals. With a project cost of approximately $400 million, Stage 2A represents a significant investment in the city’s public transport infrastructure.
