The Parramatta Light Rail Project Stage 2 is a $3.5 billion infrastructure project extending the light rail network from Rydalmere to Sydney Olympic Park.

 

Spanning approximately 10 kilometers, this stage includes 14 new stops, bridges over the Parramatta River, and integration with existing public transport networks. Designed to improve connectivity across Greater Parramatta and surrounding areas, the project incorporates state-of-the-art systems for passenger comfort, accessibility, and operational efficiency. Once completed, it will provide a critical link for residents and commuters, reducing congestion and supporting the region’s long-term growth and sustainability goals.
