Canberra Light Rail Stage 2a
The Canberra Light Rail Stage 2A project involves the extension of the city’s light rail network from Alinga Street to Commonwealth Park, spanning approximately 1.7 kilometers. This stage includes the construction of three new stops, a dedicated light rail bridge across Parkes Way, and the integration of green and sustainable design elements to support Canberra’s environmental goals. With a project cost of approximately $400 million, Stage 2A represents a significant investment in the city’s public transport infrastructure. Riskon provided expert systems engineering and safety assurance services to ensure the project met critical safety, operational, and regulatory requirements, paving the way for a smooth transition to the next stages of the light rail network.

Moorebank Interstate Terminal

The $1.5 billion QUBE Moorebank Interstate Terminal is a transformative logistics hub that sets a new benchmark for freight efficiency in Australia. Strategically located in Sydney's southwest, the terminal integrates advanced intermodal facilities, seamless rail connections, and expansive warehousing infrastructure to streamline freight handling and distribution. Spanning over 243 hectares, the terminal is designed to handle significant freight volumes, reducing reliance on road transport and alleviating congestion on major highways. By promoting a shift to rail, the project supports Australia's sustainability goals by cutting emissions and lowering the environmental impact of freight operations. Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2

The Parramatta Light Rail Project Stage 2 is a $3.5 billion infrastructure project extending the light rail network from Rydalmere to Sydney Olympic Park. Spanning approximately 10 kilometers, this stage includes 14 new stops, bridges over the Parramatta River, and integration with existing public transport networks. Designed to improve connectivity across Greater Parramatta and surrounding areas, the project incorporates state-of-the-art systems for passenger comfort, accessibility, and operational efficiency. Once completed, it will provide a critical link for residents and commuters, reducing congestion and supporting the region’s long-term growth and sustainability goals.
